March 16:  Since the four week lead time for the new windows was up, I asked about the status of their installation.  The next morning, Kenny informed us that the windows HAD NOT been ordered yet.  Seems in these economic times, the manufacturer requires a 50% deposit before starting work.  Phil Rea did NOT have the money to place the order.  They promise to place the order in a few days.  NOT a promising situation.

March 25:  Kenny says the windows are now ordered.  Start the four week lead time.  Looks like the end of May before all work MAY BE completed.  That will be four months of chaos and annoyance.

April 1:  Kenny says the windows are due to be delivered on 20 April.  Window installs begin 22 April.  Kathy gave up her Mini garage space for staging.  Doing about 5 windows per day.  Exterior cladding to be done after all 35 windows installed.

April 27, a window count lead to the discovery that one was the wrong size.  Phil Rea has ordered the window and a June delivery is expected.

May 8, All windows (Except the missing one) are installed.  Kenny was demostrating how they are folded out for cleaning and discovered that he could get them (the big ones in the living room) back into their tracks.  He ruined one window "adjusting" it.  The Anderson Window tech guy will visit on 11 May to work the problem.

May 11: Anderson guy showed us how to fold them out correctly and all work fine.  Kenny was much relieved fearing that they has screwed up many big, expensive windows.  Cladding in underway with about 13 windows done so far.  One new front window that Kenny buggered up will have to be replaced.

June 8:  Final window installed.

New Mission style window is great to showcase some of our Neon art.
