Car Description.
-
Car built in 1997.
I am the only owner. It
cost me about $30,000 with a stock Kawasaki ZX-10 motor.
It weighed 730# (dry) when delivered.
-
Has a “built” Yamaha R1 engine (Cost $8000) by
Justice Racing Engines. Engine
has 6 races, the “AllBikes” oil surge baffle plate, Barnett clutch
pressure plate and springs.
-
Battery, fuel pump, Wilwood clutch slave cylinder all new Sep 04.
Shift cable new Jun 04. New
chain and sprockets installed for the Runoffs.
All bearings in uprights and spool replaced for ’03 as well as most
rod ends.
-
Car has Penske dual adjustable shocks.
New 02. Also, Stack
memory tach.
-
Own, with Dave Gomberg, molds for the nose and splitter.
(We did this to save shipping from the West Coast.)
New nose is $350 and the splitter $90.
Dave also has a source for the side pod pans at a good price.
-
Car comes with a RaceLog data system and lap time display.
Have lots of data from many tracks from Sebring to MidOhio.
Bruce Sunseri and Travis Duder use the same data system and I have
copies of some of their data.
-
Body is rough, but is easily restored to race pretty condition.
I have not repainted it in hopes that Sunseri would develop new
bodywork by next season. All
new body fiberglass is available for $1500.
-
Tires on the car are Hoosier R25s with only the Runoffs race on them.
-
Chassis has newly developed rear diffuser (which works!). Also, it has the
stronger Pat Prince front A arms and an oil vent system.
-
Front brakes have been upgraded to the Wilwood 4 puck calipers.
The rear brakes are AP (a purchase option).
-
See the spares lists. Car is
offered at $18,000 as a “roller” and the race ready car for $21,500.
The “optional” spares are offered if purchased with the car for
$2900. I have receipts for
majority of spares purchased.
-
Car is ready to race. Just add
gas and check tire pressures.
